More than 316 billion VND donated to support people in flood-affected areas at the 2025 Autumn Fair

The fundraising program "Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love" launched by the Prime Minister right from the opening ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2026 has collected more than 316 billion VND from the support of enterprises, state-owned corporations, and private enterprises.

This information was given at the Closing Ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 which took place on the evening of November 3 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).

The Autumn Fair is not only a place to connect trade and honor Vietnamese creativity, but also a bridge of humanity, where the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" is more strongly lit than ever. Responding to the Prime Minister's call, hundreds of organizations, businesses, banks, industry associations and individuals have expressed their feelings through practical actions.

The Fair Organizing Committee has received many valuable contributions, "pieces of food when hungry" carrying faith, warmth and hope, helping people overcome loss, restore production and stabilize their lives. At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee carried out gratitude activities and received donations to support people affected by storms, floods and natural disasters in the Central and Northern mountainous regions at the call of the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said the launch of the program "Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love" aims to spread the spirit of production and business development that always goes hand in hand with social responsibility.

“Up to now, through fundraising and support activities, the Organizing Committee has announced that it has received about 316 billion VND for people affected by storms and floods in the Central region. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I would like to sincerely thank the community for their generosity and sharing with people affected by storms and floods,” said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister also emphasized: "This spirit of humanity is the most beautiful symbol of the precious tradition, national love, and compatriotism of our people, and is the foundation and endogenous strength for us to go further and more firmly on the path of development."

According to the Prime Minister, in recent days, people in the central provinces of our country have had to struggle to cope with natural disasters, storms and floods, causing very heavy damage to people and property, and will soon have to continue to cope with storm No. 13, which is strengthening in the East Sea.

With the tradition of "mutual love", "national love, compatriotism" and the spirit of "whoever has something helps, whoever has merit helps merit, whoever has money helps money, whoever has a lot helps a lot, whoever has little helps a little, wherever there is convenience, help there, the Prime Minister continues to call on the business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide to continue to accompany, join hands to support, share losses, and add motivation for people in areas of natural disasters and floods to be resilient and steadfast in the face of difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business./.
