Opening of the final round of the 2025 Science and Technology Award for Students

On November 5, at Nha Trang University, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Youth Union, and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technical Innovation (VIFOTEC) jointly organized the opening ceremony of the final round of the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2025.

Dr. Vu Thanh Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Information ( Ministry of Education and Training ) delivered the opening speech of the final round.

The final round had 125 scientific research topics of students from 58 higher education institutions participating, selected from 628 topics of 112 universities in the preliminary round. Among them, many topics with good ideas were supported by investors, creating conditions to cooperate with start-up businesses; many topics had research results published in prestigious scientific journals at home and abroad. The topics were divided into 6 fields: Natural sciences; engineering and technology; medical and pharmaceutical sciences; agricultural sciences; social sciences; humanities. The organizing committee will judge and award the topics on November 8.

The Science and Technology Award for Students is an annual activity to encourage students to conduct scientific research, contributing to improving the quality of training and nurturing young scientific talents in higher education institutions.
