Groundbreaking ceremony of Ky Cung Riverside Park project and public parking lot

- On the afternoon of November 4, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ky Cung Riverside Park project (section from Dong Kinh Hotel to Ky Cung Temple) in Dong Kinh Ward and a public parking lot in Luong Van Tri Ward, Lang Son Province.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors; leaders of the People's Committee of Dong Kinh ward and the People's Committee of Luong Van Tri ward.

The above project has a total investment of 51.6 billion VND. Of which, the Ky Cung riverside park (from Dong Kinh hotel to Ky Cung temple) in Dong Kinh ward has an area of over 13,000m2, including the following items: a resting hall and stage; green trees and grass; community service house; stone-paved walkways; stone railings along the riverbank; lighting and relocation of electric poles; asphalt concrete pavement on Nguyen Du street... For the public parking lot in Luong Van Tri ward, the total area is over 3,100m2 with many items such as: parking lot; green tree system; walkways; synchronous electricity and water supply and drainage systems.

Contractors gather vehicles and machinery ready to serve project construction

When completed, the project will contribute to creating green space for recreation, entertainment, sports activities, solving traffic and parking needs in the central urban area. At the same time, improving the quality of life of urban residents, developing green space, synchronous urban infrastructure...

This is a meaningful project to celebrate the 116th anniversary of the birth of comrade Hoang Van Thu (November 4, 1909 - November 4, 2025) and the 194th anniversary of the founding of Lang Son province (November 4, 1831 - November 4, 2025).

The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, with implementation period from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the end of 2026.

At the ceremony, the investor representative pledged to closely coordinate with the People's Committees of the wards and related units during the project implementation process. At the same time, focus on implementing solutions to speed up the project progress, ensuring completion according to the set plan.

Comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Emphasize: The above project carries the breath of the times, symbolizing the aspiration of Lang Son to rise in the period of innovation and integration.

He believes that the project will be completed on schedule and with quality, becoming a highlight of Lang Son "Green - Smart - Modern" urban area, contributing to realizing the goal of "Building Lang Son to become a growth pole of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region".

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board and construction units to uphold the spirit of responsibility, discipline, creativity, focus on construction to ensure progress, quality, safety, environmental protection and urban aesthetics, and soon put the project into use to serve the people.
