The 2025 "Bac Son Golden Season" tourism festival will be held from November 7 to November 15 with a series of outstanding cultural and sports activities suitable to the actual situation of Bac Son commune and communes in the western region of Lang Son province such as: rice harvesting competition with rudimentary tools, rice pounding competition with rudimentary tools, black banh chung wrapping competition, goat fighting competition, bird fighting competition, exploring Quynh Son golden valley by paragliding, SUP rowing (Stand-Up Paddleboarding or also known as stand-up paddleboard or paddleboard) in the middle of the rice field, experience the yin and yang tile village, cultural exchange...
In particular, at this year's festival, the People's Committee of Bac Son commune will receive the award for Best Tourist Village in 2025 from the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) for Lang Son Quynh Son Community Tourism Village (Bac Son commune).
In addition to the activities in the "Bac Son Golden Season" Tourism Festival in 2025, this year, the People's Committee of Bac Son commune also coordinated with a number of communes in Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh provinces, Hanoi city and wards and communes of Lang Son province to organize booths displaying agricultural products and OCOP specialty products of localities.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Bac Son commune also arranged booths about "Old Space", "Childhood Memories"... to serve tourists taking photos; coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to build and introduce new tourism "products" to attract and bring new features to tourists when coming to the revolutionary land of Bac Son.
Talking with the leaders of Bac Son Commune People's Committee, currently, the preparation work for the festival has basically been completed. In particular, the Commune People's Committee has directed specialized departments, local forces and people to organize environmental sanitation, collect waste, and clean up along the route to the relic sites. Along with that, accommodation services, restaurants, etc. have also been carefully prepared to ensure, ready to meet the needs of tourists coming to participate in the festival activities.
This is the third time the “Bac Son Golden Season” Tourism Festival has been held. However, unlike the previous two times (2023 and 2024) organized by the district level, this is the first time the festival has been hosted by the People’s Committee of Bac Son commune after the two-level local government model officially came into operation.
