5 billion VND pilot OCOP Program at Tra Vinh Farm Company Limited

In 2025, the provincial agricultural sector will coordinate with the People's Committee of Tieu Can commune to deploy a pilot model of the OCOP Program for the period 2021-2025 at Tra Vinh Farm Company Limited (Tieu Can commune) with a total investment of 5 billion VND.

Fresh coconut nectar products of Tra Vinh Farm Company Limited are displayed and promoted at the consumer stimulus fair, within the framework of the Ok Om Bok festival in 2025.

To facilitate project implementation, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of land use targets until 2030 in the province's planning for each commune-level administrative unit.

Including land for project implementation of Tra Vinh Farm Company Limited. Along with that, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the Project of Building a value chain of OCOP coconut nectar products in Tieu Can commune.

The project, invested by the People's Committee of Tieu Can commune, is currently completing land records, ensuring capital disbursement on schedule in 2025.

Implementing the 2025 plan, the province aims to recognize 148 more OCOP products. Up to now, the whole province has had 95 more products recognized, reaching 64% of the plan.

There are currently 53 products whose dossiers are being completed by localities. It is expected that by the end of November 2025, the remaining products will be evaluated.
