Quang Ninh Tax signed a cooperation agreement to guide tax policy

On the afternoon of November 7, Quang Ninh Tax Department held a conference to deploy the project to convert the model and method of tax management for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax.

As of October 31, Quang Ninh Tax Department manages 38,857 business households. Of these, 2,283 households pay tax by declaration method, 36,474 households pay lump-sum tax. According to regulations, from January 1, 2026, business households must switch from lump-sum tax to declaration method.

At the ceremony, Quang Ninh Tax signed a cooperation agreement to guide tax policies and support digital transformation for business households with 6 solution providers including: Viettel; VNPT; Mobifone; Misa Joint Stock Company, Sapo Technology Joint Stock Company and Kiot Viet Technology Joint Stock Company. Thereby, contributing to promoting the implementation of the Plan "60 peak days to support business households to convert from lump-sum tax to declaration model".

The solution providers commit to working with Quang Ninh Tax Department throughout the implementation process, providing safe, convenient, and cost-effective technology solutions, while also arranging a team of human resources directly to each business household to guide and promptly resolve difficulties of business households in the process of converting tax models and methods for business households when eliminating lump-sum tax.

Quang Ninh Tax aims to complete the conversion from lump-sum tax to declaration method for all households and individuals doing business in the province by December 15, 2025.
