The Law on Chemicals was passed by the 15th National Assembly , 9th Session, on June 14, 2025, and will take effect from January 1, 2026. The Law on Chemicals regulates chemicals, management of chemical activities; development of the chemical industry; chemical information; hazardous chemicals in products and goods; safety and security in chemical activities.

At the conference, representatives of enterprises were introduced and disseminated by experts from the Department of Chemicals the basic contents of the Law on Chemicals and documents guiding its implementation. Chemicals play a very important role in the chemical industry in particular and the industry in general. Therefore, understanding the legal regulations related to chemicals and skills in preventing and handling incidents requires proactive responsibility from businesses, agencies, and organizations.
