Au Co Hospital brings in 2 smart robots to serve patients

(DN) - On November 7, a representative of Au Co Hospital (Long Binh Ward) said that the hospital has put two smart robots into use to greet and welcome patients in order to gradually apply smart technology in operations and patient care.

Mr. Ly Vu Quoc Bao, CEO of Au Co Hospital, shared: The hospital uses 1 robot in the main lobby - the patient reception area and 1 robot in the pediatric examination area. The robot's task is to greet, communicate and guide patients to the examination rooms and necessary areas. In addition, the robot also supports website access to register for online medical examination, provides useful information to patients and connects customers with medical staff via video calls.

Equipping robots is a new step for the hospital to actively respond to the digital transformation policy, thereby bringing better service experiences, helping patients to be more convenient during the examination and treatment process.

In practice, the robot interacts intuitively through the display screen, presenting content quickly.
