Removing difficulties for projects in Tran Bien ward

At the meeting, the People's Committee of Tran Bien Ward said: Currently, the Dong Nai riverside road is preparing to be completed. However, the connecting roads to the Dong Nai riverside road have not been invested in and built synchronously. Therefore, the locality proposed to implement investment projects and upgrade the connecting roads.

Along with that, with the funeral home construction project in Tran Bien ward, the ward has currently adjusted the scale of the land for construction to about 3 hectares. At the end of June 2025, the Provincial People's Committee approved the planning. Tran Bien ward proposed the investment form for this project to combine public investment capital and socialized capital, and conduct bidding to select investors. Tran Bien ward People's Committee also proposed the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments and branches to support the locality to soon deploy the construction of funeral homes in the area.

Regarding the Bien Hung Park Expansion Project, due to the large investment capital, about more than 1 trillion VND, Tran Bien Ward proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider and add the project to the list of medium-term public investment projects for the period 2026-2030 for implementation.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: Tran Bien is a key ward, the political and administrative center of Dong Nai province. Therefore, investing in social institutions to serve the needs of the people as well as urban beautification is very necessary.

The Provincial People's Committee agrees in principle with the projects of building a funeral home and expanding Bien Hung Park. For the Bien Hung Park Expansion Project, the Department of Finance is assigned to consider the conditions to add the project to the list of medium-term public investment projects for the period 2026-2030.

At the same time, the Department of Finance reviewed and supported Tran Bien ward in proposing investment forms for building funeral homes under the public-private partnership (PPP) or socialization method.
