Based on the weather situation in the locality, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested all leaders, commanders, and commanders of units to urgently coordinate with related units and localities to focus on evacuating all people residing in key and vulnerable areas that are likely to be directly affected by storms, floods, landslides, hills, high tides... especially non-solid houses that are likely to collapse when facing natural disasters.
In storm-affected areas, people are prohibited from going out from 4:30 p.m. on November 6 until the storm passes (except for authorities on duty).

From 4:30 p.m. on November 6: ban on road traffic from Hoa Xuan commune to Xuan Loc commune in Dak Lak province (assign the Provincial Police to direct implementation). Assign police and military forces to ensure security and order for the people.
The Secretaries and Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards must seriously organize and implement the instructions and telegrams of the Prime Minister and the province; especially the localities in the Northeast of the province (belonging to the old Song Cau town), directly affected by the storm, must strictly implement them to minimize damage.

Updated information from the Dak Lak Province Hydrometeorological Station, at 5:00 p.m. on November 6, the center of the storm was located at about 13.6 degrees North latitude; 109.7 degrees East longitude, in the Dak Lak - Gia Lai sea area. Level 13-14 (134 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17. In the next 3 hours, the storm will move mainly in the West Northwest direction, at a speed of about 30 km/h.

Currently, Dak Lak province has heavy to very heavy rain. Rainfall in the past 6 hours in the East is 50 - 120 mm, in some places it is larger such as An Xuan 164.8 mm, Hoa Thinh 129.4 mm, Son Xuan 128.2 mm; in the West of the province it is from 10 - 60 mm. Wind in Song Cau is 17.6 m/s (level 8), gusts of 29.4 m/s (level 11); Son Hoi is 5.6 m/s (level 4), gusts of 12.9 m/s (level 6); Song Hinh is 6.1 m/s (level 4), gusts of 11.6 m/s (level 6), Tuy Hoa is 10 m/s (level 5), gusts of 20 m/s (level 8), Son Hoa is 7 m/s (level 4), gusts of 15 m/s (level 7).
It is forecasted that from the evening of November 6, the coastal mainland of the typical communes/wards: Tuy Hoa, Dong Hoa, Son Hoa, Song Hinh, Song Cau, Tuy An, Dong Xuan will have strong winds of level 7 - 8, then gradually increasing to level 9 - 10, gusting to level 10 - 13; deep inland including communes/wards from M'Drak to Ea Sup will have winds of level 5 - 6, gusting to level 7 - 8.
From the evening of November 6 to noon of November 7, Dak Lak province experienced heavy to very heavy rain with widespread rainfall: Eastern region (Tuy Hoa, Son Hoa, Song Hinh, Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa, Dong Hoa, Tuy An, Dong Xuan, Song Cau) from 200 - 300 mm, some places over 400 mm/period. Western mountainous region (Buon Don, Quang Phu, Ea Sup, Ea Knop, Krong Pac, Ea Kly, Ea Kar, Ea Drang, Buon Ho, Buon Ma Thuot, Dray Bhang, Lien Son Lak, Krong Bong, Krong Nang, Buon Trap, Yang Mao) from 80 - 150 mm, some places over 200 mm.
