On the morning of November 7, on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (November 7, 1917 - November 7, 2025), Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc led a delegation of the city to offer flowers at the Lenin Monument (Lenin Park, Ba Dinh Ward).

On the same morning, the capital's youth, agencies, organizations and units in Hanoi also came to offer flowers in memory of leader V. Lenin.

The October Revolution in Russia in 1917 was a turning point in world history, opening an era of struggle for freedom, equality and social justice. The victory of the revolution strongly encouraged the national liberation movement in colonial countries, including Vietnam.

Under the leadership of VI Lenin, the working class and working people of Russia overthrew the Tsarist regime, establishing the world's first Soviet State - a state of the people, by the people and for the people.

The October Revolution was not only a victory of the Russian people but also became a symbol of faith, aspiration for innovation and a vivid demonstration of the solidarity of the masses in the revolutionary struggle.

VI Lenin - the outstanding son of Russia, outstanding theorist and revolutionary leader - devoted his whole life to the cause of class liberation and human liberation.

His thoughts became a torch to light the way for the proletarian revolutionary movement around the world, arousing the desire to fight for independence, freedom and human rights in oppressed peoples.
