Phuong Trinh Jolie said that she had received an invitation to participate in Chi Dep Dap Gio in two seasons (2024-2025). However, coincidentally, she was pregnant each time so she had to miss the appointment. The mother of three said that she will create her own opportunity by returning to the professional singing path without waiting for the reality show.

"In the past time, I have completed the task of giving birth to two babies for my husband. However, my passion for singing never fades. I miss the stage very much. Currently, my youngest child Loka is almost 10 months old, I decided to return," Phuong Trinh Jolie said.

The singer revealed that to prepare for this comeback, she took formal vocal lessons to be able to sing high notes well. Phuong Trinh Jolie admitted that at the age of U40, after giving birth to 3 children, she had to make a lot of effort to maintain her health and singing voice. Luckily, she received attention and encouragement from her husband.

Ly Binh was the one who encouraged Phuong Trinh Jolie to return to the spotlight. He became a solid support for the female artist to do what she loved and helped her take care of her children.

Ly Binh confided: “Since we first fell in love, knowing that my wife loved to sing, I went to study directing to make a music video for her. But after living together, she was so busy taking care of the children that she didn’t have time to return to music. Now that the children are grown, I hope my wife will be more determined with her passion, and I will always be there to support her.”

On November 4, Phuong Trinh Jolie released the MV “Winter Angel” - marking her return after 5 years of absence from music. Many close colleagues such as singer Nhat Kim Anh, singer Thu Thuy and her husband Kin Nguyen, actress Ho Bich Tram, “Beautiful Sister” Hanh Sino... came to congratulate her.

The singer confided: “Recently, many people have asked me when I will return to art and music. Only now can I confidently say that this is the time. This is a milestone marking the return of Phuong Trinh Jolie, the proud “mother of three” version.”

The singer also said that on November 7, she will hold a music night at Ben Thanh tea room and will donate all profits to support flood-affected areas.

Phuong Trinh Jolie's real name is Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Trinh, born in 1988, from An Giang . In 2002, she won first prize at An Giang Television Singing Contest, and 4 years later won the special prize at Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Star.
