Bella Vu impresses in 'Fairy turns into dragon' design by designer Huynh Thuc

Vietnam Icon Fashion Tour 2025 took place in Vung Tau and witnessed the emotional collaboration between singer Bella Vu and designer Huynh Thuc. Bella's appearance in the collection "Fairy turns into dragon" brought a moment of harmony between fashion and music , telling the story of Vietnamese beauty - from the gentleness of a fairy to the strong courage of a sacred dragon.

The fusion of two creative worlds

When designer Huynh Thuc announced the collection “Fairy turns into Dragon”, he wanted to find a singer who could convey the spirit of Vietnamese culture through emotions, instead of showing off. And he chose Bella Vu – a 16-year-old singer known for her clear voice, solid technique and delicate performance style.

On the sunny and windy outdoor stage, Bella Vu appeared in a striking outfit by designer Huynh Thuc: A short dress design with a modern shape, the highlight is the hand-embroidered red dragon image winding along the body of the dress, symbolizing strength, bravery and national pride. The pure white color combined with the powerful red color creates an image that is both pure and strong - true to the spirit of "Fairy turning into a dragon".

Bella chose to combine a white cap, red gloves and blue-gray boots – creating a youthful, individual yet still Vietnamese look. Even though she is in the process of recovering from an injury, she still shows confidence, dominating the stage with every move and look.

As the melody of "Vietnam Journeys" played, Bella's every step and every note harmonized with the movements of the models in the new collection, creating an opening that was both soaring and powerful.

Bella’s music becomes the perfect piece, adding depth to Huynh Thuc’s story. Her voice – both clear and powerful – leads the audience through a journey of transformation: from “Fairy” – a symbol of purity, to “Dragon” – a symbol of wisdom, strength and national pride.

With this combination, Bella Vu and Huynh Thuc not only brought an impressive performance, but also sent a message to the young generation of Vietnam: Confident, creative, preserving tradition but constantly renewing themselves. At the age of 16, Bella proves that music is not just a performance - but a language of culture, connecting the past and the present, between the artist and the audience.

Vietnam Icon Fashion Tour 2025 brings together hundreds of artists, models, designers and creative teams from all over the country.

“Fairy turns into dragon” is not just a fashion collection – but a symphony of beauty, emotion and Vietnamese pride, where Huynh Thuc creates the shape and Bella Vu breathes life into it with sound.

After the opening performance of Bella Vu, the program continued with performances by big names in the fashion industry such as Hoang Minh Ha, Le Huu Nhan, Quynh Paris, along with a series of collections with creative, sustainable messages and honoring Vietnamese identity. Interspersed with the performances were special musical performances by the group Aeonus, singer Minh Thao, rapper Minh Hy, creating a colorful artistic picture.

“The organizers chose Bella Vu for the opening performance because she has a rare balance between clarity and depth. At the age of 16, Bella not only sings with technique but also knows how to tell stories with emotion. She brings the image of a youthful, confident and ambitious Vietnam,” director Le Viet shared.
