At the session, the provincial People's Council delegates elected Mr. Le Quang Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance, and Mr. Cao Van Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, to the positions of Vice Chairmen of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
In addition, the delegates of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also elected additional members to the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, including: Mr. Nguyen Tien Hieu - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Le Van Trung - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Le Van Cuong - Director of the Department of Health ; and Mr. Hoang Van Dong - Director of the Department of Construction.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also elected Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hai as Head of the Legal Affairs Committee of the 18th term of the Provincial People's Council; and Mr. Luong Tien Thanh as Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, 18th term, for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Le Quang Hung, the newly appointed Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, is 54 years old and hails from the former Thieu Hoa district, now Dong Tien ward, Thanh Hoa province. His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Theory.
Prior to assuming the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Hung held the following positions: Secretary of the Trieu Son District Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Finance.
Mr. Cao Van Cuong, the newly appointed Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, is 50 years old and hails from Hoang Giang commune, formerly Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.
Mr. Cao Van Cuong holds a degree in forestry engineering, a master's degree in forestry, a doctorate in forestry, and advanced political theory qualifications.
Prior to assuming the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Cuong held the following positions: Director of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve Management Board, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Muong Lat District; Deputy Director, then Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, now the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Thanh Hoa Province.
