The group has published 406 international scientific papers, holds 175 domestic patents, 41 international patents, along with 2 Ho Chi Minh Awards for Science and Technology and numerous international awards.
Pioneering the development of national digital and logistics infrastructure.
With its rapid 5G infrastructure development campaign over the past year, Viettel has achieved a cumulative network of 30,000 5G base stations, making it the largest 5G network in Vietnam. This exceeds its commitment to the Government, aiming to create a core foundation for digital economic growth and comprehensively promote the digital society.

Viettel also commenced construction on three large- and super-large-scale data centers and research and development facilities in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, contributing to the strategic goal of developing digital infrastructure and advanced technology infrastructure, in parallel with the world's technological development.
The corporation has participated in the development of logistics infrastructure with key projects contributing to making Vietnam a strategic logistics hub in the region, such as the commencement of construction of the Logistics Center in Da Nang, promoting the implementation of smart border gates in Lang Son, Lao Cai, and Quang Ninh, as well as expanding its logistics business into Southeast Asian markets.
Building key national digital transformation platforms.

Many important, large-scale platforms with high security and stability requirements have been put into operation synchronously.
The corporation also deployed a dedicated data transmission network and an interconnected operational management system from the central to local levels, helping to ensure the stable operation of the two-tiered government model after the merger. 2026 is seen as a year that ushers in a new era of growth, shifting from conceptual planning, institutional frameworks, and strategic direction to implementation. Therefore, with Viettel's strategy to become a global technology group by 2030 already clear, we have chosen to focus on action in 2026, specifically: More proactive - Faster - Bolder - More effective. Effectiveness must be visible to customers, society, and the country – these are the driving forces for Viettel's continued sustainable development."
