A vibrant coral 'forest of flowers' has been revived by the hands and minds of conservationists.

The unique and irresistible beauty of the seabed around Cu Lao Cham Island.

Few people know about the silent, arduous journey of the engineers of the Cu Lao Cham Nature Reserve Management Board ( Da Nang City) to create the magnificent paradise it is today.

After suffering severe damage from natural disasters and climate change, each coral reef has been revived thanks to humanity's perseverance and love for the sea.

Each month, engineers meticulously carry out every step, from seedling cultivation and coral grafting onto substrates to diving dozens of meters deep to the seabed to clean up ocean debris and remove harmful predators such as crown-of-thorns starfish.

The revival of the coral reefs today is a reward for a tireless and dedicated journey. Ms. Tran Phuong Thao, a female engineer from the Management Board, shared that she has always been fascinated by the beauty of the coral reefs under the sea of Cu Lao Cham - where the coral shines brilliantly in its own unique way. This is also the greatest happiness for those working in marine conservation, a specialized job where they sometimes spend more time underwater than on land.
