In 2025, despite numerous challenges due to weather, natural disasters, and general market fluctuations, Sam Son tourism (Thanh Hoa province) still made a remarkable mark with impressive growth figures. The entire Sam Son area is estimated to have welcomed approximately 8.8 million visitors, served over 17 million visitor-days, and generated total tourism revenue exceeding 17 trillion VND. These results demonstrate that this coastal tourist area is increasingly asserting its appeal, becoming an attractive, safe, and friendly destination for tourists from both within and outside the province.

Many new tourism products have been launched, creating a significant impact and attracting a large number of locals and tourists. Notable examples include the Sea Square and Festival Landscape Axis; Sun World Water Park; and the Memorial Area for compatriots, soldiers, and students from the South who relocated to the North... These projects not only contribute to changing the urban landscape but also create new experiences, gradually overcoming the seasonality in tourism development in Sam Son ward.
By 2026, Sam Son aims to welcome over 9 million tourists, generating total tourism revenue of approximately 18.8 trillion VND. To achieve this goal, the ward will continue to strengthen leadership and state management of tourism; intensify inspections and strictly handle violations; and improve the quality of propaganda and promotion work in a professional, modern manner, linked to digital transformation.
