On October 27, Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Nam Dong hamlet, Tan Cuong commune) was more crowded than usual. Hundreds of people and tea production facility owners attended a training session on industrial promotion in 2025, organized by the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting ( Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen (Y Na hamlet, Tan Cuong commune) shared: Listening to lectures on industrial promotion policies and safe tea production methods, I found them very useful. Before, I worked manually, with low productivity, but after the training courses, I learned clean processing techniques and quality control, so the tea can be sold at a higher price.

Ms. Quyen's family has 3 sao of tea, which was mainly produced using traditional methods. Now she has applied safe production processes, focusing on hygiene and post-harvest preservation. "The tea plants are healthy, have good yields, and traders come to buy them at home, that is the most obvious benefit I see," said Ms. Quyen.

Not only in Tan Cuong, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting of Thai Nguyen province also organized training courses in two communes, La Bang and Yen Trach, attracting about 335 delegates who are owners of rural industrial establishments, officials in charge of industry and trade of localities and people.

Mr. Duong Van Hoan, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said: The training courses help producers raise awareness about green, clean, energy-saving production, aiming for sustainable development. We want people to clearly understand that technological innovation and improved management are the key to enhancing the competitiveness of local products.

The training courses focused on disseminating the content of the province's industrial promotion program, policies to support project development, plans, and instructions on preparing dossiers for selecting typical rural industrial products; introducing digital transformation mechanisms to help businesses improve management efficiency, reduce costs, and increase competitiveness.

In addition, students were introduced to cleaner production and sustainable consumption models and had a field trip to some facilities that have successfully applied this model in the province.

Ms. Chu Thi Minh Thuy, an officer of Tan Cuong Xanh Co., Ltd., commented: Through the training course, we have a better understanding of the State's support policies, especially in encouraging technological innovation and applying cleaner production. The lecturers presented specific and easy-to-understand presentations, helping us have more ideas to apply in practice, while creating opportunities to exchange and learn from experiences between production facilities.

Partly thanks to training courses, members of La Bang Tea Cooperative have improved their knowledge and skills in caring for and processing commercial tea.

In recent years, industrial promotion work in Thai Nguyen has been effectively implemented, contributing to supporting hundreds of rural industrial establishments to innovate machinery and equipment, improve production technology, and develop new products.

In particular, training and propaganda programs have helped producers shift from a "habitual" mindset to modern production, with planning and calculation of economic efficiency.

According to the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade, the province will continue to expand the training and consulting network for industrial promotion associated with digital transformation and sustainable consumption, supporting small businesses, cooperatives, and production households to apply technology in product management and promotion.

“We hope that each training session is not only an opportunity for everyone to learn but also an opportunity to connect, expand cooperation, and work towards the goal of developing green and sustainable rural industry.” - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Duong Van Hoan emphasized.
