
WTM London is the world's leading tourism fair, gathering tens of thousands of tourism businesses, airlines, hotel groups and national tourism management agencies. Here, Vietnam will continue to promote and introduce its unique tourism products, outstanding destinations along with open visa policies, convenient tourism infrastructure and air connections.
The Vietnam tourism booth is expected to have an area of 204m2, introducing Vietnam's unique and attractive tourism destinations and products through the following activities: Organizing promotions at the Vietnam tourism booth; reception program - meeting businesses and many other exciting activities according to the Fair program.
The UK in particular and Europe in general are key tourist markets for Vietnam's tourism industry, with tourists having long stays, high spending levels, and a love of experiencing culture - heritage - nature. Currently, Vietnam and the UK have connected direct flights between major cities with a frequency of 60-70 flights/week; British citizens enjoy a 45-day visa exemption policy to enter Vietnam (according to Resolution 44/NQ-CP dated March 7, 2025); the number of British visitors to Vietnam is recording positive growth.
According to statistics, the number of British tourists to Vietnam increased by 20.4% in 2024. In the first 9 months of 2025, Vietnam welcomed 15.4 million international visitors, of which British visitors in particular (up 22%) and European visitors in general continued to grow. Along with the general recovery of the European market, Vietnam expects WTM London 2025 to open up many new cooperation opportunities with international partners, travel agencies and media.
Participation in WTM London 2025 is a key promotional activity in the strategy of expanding international markets, enhancing cooperation and trade in the tourism sector, contributing to diversifying international visitor sources and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism.
