Editor Quang Viet has officially left VTV after 14 years of service to start a new role.

Recently, BTV Quang Viet announced his departure from Vietnam Television after more than a decade of service. On his personal page, the commentator of VTV Sports Department sent his farewell to the agency and colleagues.

"Goodbye to my brilliant youth. That journey started in early November 2011 and ended on these days in 2025, exactly 14 years with so many memories.

VTV is not only a workplace, but also a true second home: living fully with passion for sports, working with great brothers, teachers, colleagues and friends, and having a small family here.

It was a youth filled with passion and no regrets, even though sometimes I had to overcome many challenges. I will always cherish and be grateful to the leaders, colleagues and friends who have always accompanied me, not only as colleagues but also as brothers in the true sense.

Goodbye to familiar “keywords”: Editor/MC Quang Viet - working at… Tomorrow is a new journey. No goodbyes, because once in the heart, it will always be there,” Editor Quang Viet wrote.

Many sources said that after leaving VTV, Quang Viet will move to a new role. He was appointed as Communications Director of a bank, and at the same time run Ninh Binh football club.

BTV Quang Viet was born in 1990, famous for his role as host of "Sports 247", "360 degrees of VTV sports", "Sports pulse"... During his career, he commented on football matches on VTV, produced sports programs...

The male MC is considered a multi-talented person, taking on many different roles such as program host, producer, etc. He also appeared on "Chuyen Dong 24h", "Vietnam Today"...

Besides working at Vietnam Television, BTV Quang Viet is also the manager of midfielder Hoang Duc, accompanying the midfielder born in 1998 over the years.
