(DN) - The Huong Lo 2 extended construction investment project (section 1, phase 1) on the traffic axis connecting Dong Nai with Ho Chi Minh City via Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway is expected to be completed in November 2025, after nearly 5 years of construction.

The extended Huong Lo 2 (section 1, phase 1) has a total construction estimate of more than 230 billion VND. Currently, Dong Nai province is also implementing investment procedures for section 2 of the route connecting to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway. When completed synchronously, the route will help shorten the distance and travel time from Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City and contribute to reducing traffic volume on National Highway 51.
