Speaking at the closing ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that after 10 days of excitement, professionalism and inspiration at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center, today we are very happy, excited and solemnly held the closing ceremony of the first Autumn Fair - 2025. The event marks a good start, opening a new chapter for a series of international trade, investment and national cultural promotion events of Vietnam in the new era.

The Prime Minister emphasized that, true to the theme "Connecting people with production and business", the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is a forum for promoting investment, trade, and a real trading floor, where people are affirmed to be the center, the subject, the driving force, and the resource of all production, business, and consumption activities.

The fair attracted more than 1 million visitors, thousands of trade deals, contracts and memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation and technology transfer between domestic and foreign enterprises with a commercial value of nearly 5,000 billion VND.

Direct revenue at the fair and through online channels increased by 40-45% compared to the average level of national trade promotion events in recent years, thereby creating thousands of jobs for workers and creating livelihoods for people. This has affirmed that the Fair is an effective channel to stimulate domestic consumption, an important driving force to promote production, import and export, an active method to renew traditional growth drivers, a dynamic bridge connecting international trade cooperation, creating momentum for the development of the domestic market in the digital age.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 has become a festival of creative technology, culture and art, where the core value is affirmed - economic development must go hand in hand with the development of social culture and people. Not only stopping at points and commercial transactions, the Fair has created a multi-dimensional connection space, where modern technology blends with traditional cultural values.

With 5 sub-areas, more than 3,000 booths, gathering more than 2,500 businesses, the Fair is a journey of experience across Vietnam, a vivid picture of the vitality of Vietnamese goods for a large number of visitors and people.

Each booth is a cultural piece, a unique story about the localities and people of Vietnam, where not only high-tech industrial products, green and modern energy, cultural and artistic products, and unique regional products shine, but it is also a space for exciting experiences, shopping, entertainment, incentives, and unique cultural and culinary festivals.

Many leaders of the Party and State; ministries, branches and localities attended the closing ceremony.

Many Vietnamese branded products are highly appreciated by international friends, opening up new export opportunities and gradually covering the Vietnamese brand on the global trade map.

“The success of the first Autumn Fair - 2025 is an affirmation that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and development speed but also a safe, friendly, promising and attractive destination for domestic and international investors” - the Prime Minister noted.

The Prime Minister stated that the Fair is a symbol of the spirit of solidarity and common development aspirations of the entire Vietnamese people, clearly demonstrating the belief in a dynamic, creative, future-oriented Vietnam. This success comes from the Party's wise leadership and direction, the Government's decisive and flexible management, the participation of the entire political system, the people, and the business community with the spirit of the Party leading the State to create, enterprises taking the lead, the public and private sectors accompanying, the people's sympathy, and international support, a great source of strength, helping Vietnam confidently rise up to integrate deeply and affirm its position in the international arena.

In particular, at the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister called on the business community, people and soldiers nationwide to join hands in donating and supporting people affected by natural disasters through the program "Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love". With the spirit of developing production and business always going hand in hand with social responsibility, up to now, through donation and support activities, the Organizing Committee has announced receiving nearly 400 billion VND for people affected by storms and floods in the Central region.

The Prime Minister emotionally said: “On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I would like to sincerely thank the community for their generosity and sharing with people in storm and flood-affected areas. This spirit of humanity is the most beautiful symbol of our nation's precious traditions, national love, and compatriotism, and is the foundation and endogenous strength for us to go further and more firmly on the path of development.”

Representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the agency representing the people of the whole country, received donations to support people affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters from units and businesses.

In recent days, people in the Central provinces of our country have had to struggle to cope with natural disasters, storms and floods, causing very heavy losses in human lives and property. In the near future, they will continue to deal with storm No. 13, which is strengthening in the East Sea. The Prime Minister continued to call for, with the tradition of mutual love, national love, compatriotism and the spirit of everyone helping, whoever has meritorious services will use their services, whoever has property will use their property, whoever has a lot will help a lot, whoever has little will help a little, wherever there is convenience, there will be help. The business community, compatriots and soldiers nationwide continue to accompany, join hands to support, share losses, adding another motivation for people in areas of natural disasters and storms and floods to be resilient and steadfast in the face of difficulties, soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business.

Preparing for the first Spring Fair - 2026

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 ended with impressive numbers, inspiring, motivating and creating positive ripple effects.

To continue promoting the positive results achieved, the Prime Minister suggested that, first, based on the results of this fair, the Ministry of Industry and Trade proactively build a model to organize the annual Autumn Fair, professionally, modernly, effectively and urgently propose a plan to successfully organize the first Spring Fair Conference - 2026.

Second, ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities promote opportunities, commitments and agreements formed at the Fair, transforming trade results into specific, practical and effective projects and products for people's lives and the country's socio-economic development.

Third, industry associations and the business community continue to innovate their thinking, make efforts in production and business, affirm the value of Vietnamese brands, both contributing to the country's socio-economic development and demonstrating responsibility to the community, especially providing timely and practical support to people in areas affected by natural disasters, storms and floods.

Fourth, international partners and organizations continue to accompany Vietnam in trade cooperation, investment, technology transfer, human resource training for green development, digital and sustainable development, together expanding the space for cooperation for peace, prosperity and common development around the world.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee also honored organizations and businesses with outstanding booths at the Fair. In addition, they expressed gratitude and received donations and support for people affected by storms, floods, and natural disasters in the Central and Northern mountainous regions as initiated by the Prime Minister at the Opening Ceremony of the Fair.
