Despite facing many unprecedented difficulties and challenges, our Party remains steadfast in its mettle, firmly upholds the socialist orientation, leads the entire people in solidarity to overcome challenges, and achieves many great and comprehensive achievements, from economics , politics, culture, society to national defense, security and foreign affairs.

Mr. Dang Manh Cuong - Party Secretary, Chairman of Quy Nhon Nam Ward People's Council - affirmed: Officials and Party members of Quy Nhon Nam Ward assessed that this draft Political Report not only summarizes the past 5 years but also demonstrates a strong innovative mindset, long-term development vision, clearly affirming the foundation, potential, position and prestige of Vietnam after nearly 40 years of innovation.

Lessons drawn from leadership and management practices are presented concisely and have high orientation value, especially the lesson of "relying on the people, for the people and promoting the strength of great national unity".

Many comments expressed the responsibility for Party building, suggesting clarifying the content of strengthening the responsibility of setting an example for cadres, especially leaders; overcoming formalism in implementing solutions to prevent and combat corruption and negativity; requiring leaders to "go to the place, see with their own eyes", closely follow the grassroots, be close to the people, and combine words with actions to strengthen people's trust.

Not only concerned with the growth target, opinions also agree that national development must be closely linked to cultural and human development. Arousing patriotism, national pride, self-reliance and the desire for prosperous and happy development is considered the “inner fire” to promote sustainable social progress.

Many party members believe that the three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, human resources and infrastructure need to be placed in an organic relationship. In particular, institutions are considered the “golden key” to unlock all resources; human resources are the decisive factor for the success of the innovation process; and infrastructure – both hard and soft – is the “runway” for Vietnam to take off in the digital age.

Opinions were highly unanimous in the view that the private economic sector is an important driving force of the economy, and suggested continuing to improve policy mechanisms to protect entrepreneurs, encourage innovation, remove barriers, create an equal and transparent investment and business environment, contributing to improving national competitiveness.

Continue to build and rectify the Party

Contributing opinions to the draft Report on Party building and implementation of the Party Charter, many cadres and Party members affirmed: Party building and rectification work in the 13th term has been implemented resolutely and comprehensively, achieving clear results, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party's leadership.

The fight against corruption and negativity is considered an "uncompromising war", demonstrating political courage, determination and the spirit of "no forbidden zones, no exceptions".

Opinions were unanimous that in the coming term, it is necessary to continue to persevere and be consistent with the motto of "building goes hand in hand with fighting", "taking building as the main thing", linking Party building and rectification with building a clean and strong political system in all aspects. In particular, promoting the exemplary role of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, is considered an order from the people.

Many opinions suggested that the Central Committee should add specific solutions to improve the quality of self-criticism and criticism, overcome the manifestations of deference and avoidance; innovate personnel work in a practical, objective, and impartial direction, taking work efficiency, prestige and people's trust as the measure.

Besides, it is necessary to pay attention to internal political protection work, strengthen discipline and order, and maintain solidarity and unity within the Party.

Opinions also emphasized that promoting democracy at the grassroots level is the foundation for strengthening people's trust in the Party. Democracy must go hand in hand with discipline and law; inspection and supervision must be carried out regularly and seriously, avoiding formality.

Each Party member must be a true pioneer, exemplary, and a shining example in work, study, and life to contribute to making our Party always clean, strong, and capable of leading the country firmly in the new era.
