The work “Epic of National Reunification” won the prize in the Infographics category within the framework of the 5th Asian Media Leaders Summit (AMLS) organized by WAN-IFRA.
This is an interactive multimedia press product, launched on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), part of the special information line A50 of VNA. With a novel form of expression, the work combines graphics, sound and interactive 3D games, recreating the iconic image of the April 30 Victory, the liberation army tank crashing into the gate of the Independence Palace, symbolizing the aspiration for peace and national unity.

The VietnamPlus award is one of two new awards in the “Graphics” category this year, alongside “Best Medical Graphic” and “Best Climate Change Graphic”, recognizing the creativity and effectiveness of visual journalism.
This is the second consecutive year that VietnamPlus has been honored by WAN-IFRA in 2025. Previously, in April 2025, the work “70 years of Capital Liberation: Sacred and Glorious Hanoi ” by the Newspaper won the “Best Innovative Digital Product” award at the Digital Media Awards 2025 Asia event held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).
To date, VietnamPlus has received three international awards from WAN-IFRA, including the RapNewsPlus newsletter which won First Prize in the “Digital First” category in 2014, honoring creativity in attracting young people to participate in journalism through digital platforms.
The AMLS 2025 Conference took place on November 5 and 6 in Singapore, bringing together leaders of leading regional and global press agencies to discuss digital journalism trends, artificial intelligence (AI) and strategic challenges of modern media.
WAN-IFRA, founded in 1948, is now a global newspaper network with more than 3,000 publishing and technology agencies, and 60 member press associations in 120 countries and territories.
