Dak Lak: Evacuating 92 households in dangerous areas to storm shelters

On the evening of November 5, Mr. Tran Cong Hoan, Party Secretary of Song Cau Ward, Dak Lak Province, said that 92 households with 140 people in dangerous areas had been evacuated to pagodas and schools to avoid storm No. 13.

These households are located in the danger zone that will be affected by high tides caused by storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi). Food and drinking water have been arranged at the pagoda and school to ensure people have enough time to avoid the storm.

On the same afternoon, Mr. Ta Anh Tuan, Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, inspected storm prevention work in Xuan Dai and Song Cau wards. During the inspection, Mr. Tuan highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the above localities in proactively implementing storm prevention plans.
