Review and inspect advertising media in the province

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just sent a document to the People's Committees of communes and wards; Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural Center; organizations and individuals carrying out advertising activities in the province about proactively responding to storm Kalmaegi.

Accordingly, the People's Committees of communes and wards shall strengthen the direction of local specialized departments and offices to review and inspect advertising works in the area, promptly request investors or venue owners to coordinate in checking the quality, supplement reinforcement plans for advertising works and adjacent works; request organizations and individuals with outdoor advertising facilities to ensure safety in construction, electricity, fire prevention and fighting and other related contents; urgently review and request organizations and individuals with advertising works to temporarily dismantle or brace, supplement reinforcement and support measures; if organizations and individuals do not comply, they shall proactively report to local forces to dismantle, ensuring general safety according to regulations.

The Provincial Cultural Center conducts inspections, reviews and handles advertising locations on public land in the province. Especially large billboards on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (Cam Lam Commune, Bac Cam Ranh Ward) and wards: Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, Nam Nha Trang, Tay Nha Trang; urgently sends notices to organizations and individuals operating billboards to conduct inspections, handle and implement remedial measures (if any) in the face of the complicated developments of storm Kalmaegi. Organizations and individuals carrying out advertising activities in the province urgently check and review the safety level of bearing capacity, stabilize the current status of advertising works; carry out reinforcement, bracing and repair measures to ensure compliance with prescribed technical requirements; be proactive and ready to arrange staff on duty, strictly comply with the direction of local management agencies when proactively responding to storms; promptly repair and restore damaged areas, immediately dismantle advertising media broken after storms and floods, ensuring safety and urban beauty...
