Unique performance of calling the Moon Lady of Thai people in Nghe An

The play "Calling the Moon" is a folk performance for people to entertain and have fun after hard working days in the fields, and to show respect to the Moon God, praying for the Moon God to always protect the villagers to be healthy, lucky and have a good harvest.

1. Draw the Moon's face on a dry gourd

Besides, Calling the Moon also teaches people to always live honestly, sincerely, always aim for goodness, and do good deeds because every time the Moon comes down to play, she will declare the truth about the actions of the villagers. Therefore, the Thai people always live in solidarity, gather together, and work hard so that the Moon can always protect the villagers.
