At the scene, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Thanh said that there are currently nearly 800 ships and boats anchored at Quy Nhon Fishing Port to avoid the storm; about 100 fishing boats of the province operating at sea have been contacted and instructed to move out of the danger zone and find safe shelter. In addition, for aquaculture cages, the locality has instructed people to harvest early the products that can be harvested before the storm makes landfall.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that, as soon as he received forecast information about storm No. 13, the province activated the storm response scenario of level 5 - the highest level, and at the same time prepared plans to evacuate people and boats early and from afar. Military, police, and militia forces were mobilized to support people in low-lying areas at risk of landslides to move to safe areas, and deployed guards to prevent people from returning to dangerous areas while the storm has not yet passed.

After listening to the report, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive and decisive actions of Gia Lai province in responding to the storm. He emphasized the first requirement is to absolutely ensure the safety of people's lives and property, especially in coastal areas, low-lying areas, and areas with high risk of landslides. The Deputy Prime Minister directed the province to take responsibility for ensuring the safety of all ships and crew members anchored and operating in the area, regardless of local management.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha acknowledged and highly appreciated Gia Lai province's proactive and decisive actions in responding to the storm.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested to strengthen propaganda and advise people to proactively protect their lives and property, find safe shelters from storms, and prepare forces, vehicles, and logistics to respond when an emergency occurs.
