Participating in this festival were more than 600 volunteers including officials, civil servants, union members, youth, students and people from 3 units (Minh Hung ward, Chon Thanh ward and Nha Bich commune).
Accordingly, the volunteers were examined by the staff, doctors and nurses of Cho Ray Blood Transfusion Center, Ho Chi Minh City, for health check-ups and screening. Only those who met the requirements were allowed to donate blood. During this blood donation, the Organizing Committee collected 437 units of blood. It can be seen that the voluntary blood donation movement has spread widely in recent times, attracting many people from all walks of life in the localities to participate; especially the youth union members and Red Cross volunteers. Responding to the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival is a meaningful humanitarian activity, in the spirit of "Donating blood to save lives", making an important contribution to supporting the treatment of patients.
