At Chau Me residential group, Sa Huynh ward, on November 7, the ward Military Command coordinated with officers and soldiers of Infantry Regiment 887, Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command to clean up the coastal environment; leveled and cleared a large amount of soil and sand that had flooded in with the high tide, causing siltation on residential roads.

Mr. Nguyen Thuy, a local resident, confided that high tides and strong waves had caused a lot of damage. Fortunately, thanks to the timely support from these forces, the people's worries were somewhat reduced and they felt much more secure.

Deputy Commander of the Sa Huynh Ward Military Command, Vo Ngoc Thong, said that the unit has urgently helped people reinforce damaged houses and clear buried and landslide-affected roads to create conditions for people to travel safely.

Also today, the police and military forces mobilized maximum manpower to concentrate on Thanh Long, My Khanh, Vinh Phu villages in Long Phung commune to urgently help people overcome and repair houses whose roofs were blown off by the tornado.

Mr. Ngo Long, Thanh Long village, shared that his family had to spend money to buy more purlins for soldiers to reinforce the roof because the tornado had caused it to collapse and cause severe damage.

Private Nguyen Quoc Duy, Mobile Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police said, we are doing our best to support the people with the hope of completing this task as soon as possible.

Chairman of Long Phung Commune People's Committee Ngo Van Thanh informed that the locality has focused on directing forces such as police, army, unions, youth union members... to simultaneously mobilize and mobilize localities to stand side by side with people in overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 13, helping them quickly stabilize their lives.

This meaningful action further strengthens the "military-civilian" solidarity, especially in times of facing natural disasters and storms.
