Suspect arrested for attacking neighbor with a knife over loud karaoke late at night.

On November 16th, the Kien Luong Commune Police announced that the Criminal Investigation Department of the An Giang Provincial Police had served a decision to prosecute and imposed a travel ban on Dang Thanh Duy (born in 1981, residing at Group 1, Ray Moi Hamlet, Kien Luong Commune, An Giang Province) to investigate the act of "intentionally causing injury".

Earlier, at around 10 PM on August 4th, Dang Thanh Duy, after drinking alcohol, was on his way home to Ray Moi hamlet (Kien Luong commune) when he saw Mr. PXH's house opposite having a drinking party and singing karaoke, causing noise, so he went over to remind them to be quiet.

At 10:45 PM, seeing that the singing at Mr. H's house hadn't stopped, Duy took a homemade knife wrapped in a piece of black cloth that he was carrying and went to Mr. H's house to "talk things over."

When Mr. MVS (born in 1996, Mr. H's son-in-law) saw Duy standing in front of his house, he came out to meet Duy, and an argument ensued. Duy used a knife to slash Mr. S's neck and back of the head, causing him injuries.

People nearby intervened in time and took Mr. S for first aid. On August 19th, Mr. S reported the incident to the Kien Luong Commune Police. The forensic examination concluded that Mr. S sustained injuries resulting in a 5% bodily injury rate.

Currently, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and clarify the case, and will handle the suspect in accordance with regulations.
