Arrest of suspect who slashed neighbor for singing karaoke loudly late at night

On November 16, Kien Luong Commune Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province Police had issued a decision to prosecute the accused and apply measures prohibiting him from leaving his place of residence to Dang Thanh Duy (born in 1981, residing in Group 1, Ray Moi Hamlet, Kien Luong Commune, An Giang Province), to investigate the act of "Intentionally causing injury".

Before that, at around 10 p.m. on August 4, Dang Thanh Duy, after drinking on his way home in Ray Moi hamlet (Kien Luong commune), was lying in a hammock when he saw Mr. PXH's house opposite was having a drinking party and singing karaoke, causing noise, so he went over to remind him.

At 10:45 p.m., seeing that Mr. H's house had not stopped singing, Duy took a homemade knife wrapped in a piece of black cloth and went to Mr. H's house to "talk".

When seeing Duy standing in front of the house, Mr. MVS (born in 1996, Mr. H's son-in-law) went out to meet Duy and the two sides argued. Duy used a knife to slash Mr. S's neck and nape, injuring him.

People around promptly intervened and took Mr. S. to the first aid station. On August 19, Mr. S. went to Kien Luong Commune Police to report the incident. The forensic conclusion showed that Mr. S. suffered injuries with a body injury rate of 5%.

Currently, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency continues to investigate, clarify, and handle the subject according to regulations.
