The Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam thanks Mr. Tran Hoang Phuong for his beautiful act of helping Korean tourists.

Ms. Park Eun Jung, Chief Representative of Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam, presented gifts and commended Mr. Tran Hoang Phuong.

According to Ms. Park Eun Jung, after the incident of Mr. Phuong helping a Korean tourist find his lost mother during a trip on November 2, many media agencies in Vietnam and Korea reported on this beautiful and meaningful action.

The incident has attracted great attention from the Korean community. Many Koreans expressed their emotion and gratitude for the kindness of the Vietnamese people, especially Mr. Phuong, who did not hesitate to support a stranger in difficult times.

Previously, as reported by An Giang Online Newspaper, on November 2, during a trip to Phu Quoc, an elderly Korean woman suddenly got lost when leaving the supermarket area. At that time, the group of tourists went to Mr. Tran Hoang Phuong's fruit farm to ask for a camera check and received enthusiastic support.

Mr. Phuong reopened the image and saw an old woman passing by at around 6 p.m. One of the tourists immediately recognized that it was his mother. Seeing that the tourist had no vehicle and was unfamiliar with the road, Mr. Phuong decided to take the old woman's son on a motorbike to look for her.

Following information from the locals, Mr. Phuong and the Korean woman's son found the old woman walking along the road about 4-5km away. When they met their relatives, the whole family was touched and happy. The Korean tourist offered to give 500 USD as thanks, but Mr. Phuong refused.

The gratitude of the Korean Tourism Organization in Vietnam to Mr. Tran Hoang Phuong is not only a thank you for a beautiful action, but also has profound meaning in strengthening the friendship between the two countries Vietnam and Korea.

Mr. Phuong's act of helping a Korean tourist who got lost in Phu Quoc has contributed to spreading the image of Phu Quoc people as friendly, dedicated and always willing to support international friends, while affirming the commitment to building Phu Quoc into a safe, friendly and hospitable destination.

Previously, the Phu Quoc special zone government also visited, commended, and awarded a certificate of merit to Mr. Phuong for this beautiful action.
