Joining the delegation were comrade Nguyen Huynh Thien - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and representatives of departments and branches.

Duy Tan Recycling's plastic waste recycling factory is located in Long An province, with an area of ​​65,000 m², currently operating with a capacity of about 60,000 tons/year and has the ability to expand to 100,000 tons/year, equivalent to about 7 billion plastic bottles per year.

The company’s recycled plastic products meet international standards such as FDA and EFSA, and are qualified for use in food packaging. The factory operates according to the “3 no” standard (no air emissions, no waste, no wastewater), in which 90% of the treated wastewater is reused.

In Vinh Long province, Duy Tan Recycling is deploying a facility to purchase and produce recycled plastic in Tan Hanh ward, and is investing in building a factory in Binh Tan Industrial Park (Tan Quoi commune) to expand the business's plastic waste treatment and recycling network in the locality.

After listening to a report on the establishment and operation of the enterprise, the delegation visited the factory's production line, recycling area and waste plastic storage area awaiting treatment.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Huynh Thien highly appreciated the technology, closed production process and operating standards of Duy Tan Recycling. Provincial leaders affirmed that Vinh Long is always ready to invite, accompany and create favorable conditions for businesses to invest.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Finance, the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with the People's Committees of Tan Hanh Ward and Tan Quoi Commune to urgently complete investment procedures, helping businesses to soon start operating, contributing to effectively solving the problem of plastic waste in the province in the coming time.
