The photo book "80 Years - A Confident Vietnam," published by the Vietnam News Agency Publishing House, is a heartfelt product in the professional artistic career of photographer Nguyen A.
This book is a selection of over 200 photographs, carefully chosen from thousands of images the author captured over 5 years of creative work across the country, from the northern border to the southernmost tip of Ca Mau .
Each photograph not only captures a moment but also preserves light, memories, and a deep love for the homeland. The book's highlight is its simple yet profound approach.

By viewing the photo book, the public can relive the heroic atmosphere of the parades and marches commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, as well as the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
In the book, the author devotes a significant amount of space to images of officers and soldiers training and performing their duties in parades and marches, images of troops marching amidst the embrace of the people, and images of military forces departing to participate in United Nations peacekeeping operations…
It also portrays the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers through everyday moments of the bond between the military and the people, helping people rebuild their homes after storms and floods, harvesting crops, clearing fallen trees caused by natural disasters, and so on.

These include Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor of Medicine Nguyen Hong Son, Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ho Chi Minh City; Lieutenant Colonel, pilot Dang Dinh Kien, Deputy Head of Political Affairs of Regiment 935, Division 370, Air Defense - Air Force; and Ms. Tran To Nga, a victim of Agent Orange/Dioxin poisoning...
Photographer Nguyen A said that this is the 24th photo book in his creative career, a project he has been nurturing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd. Each photograph is not just a moment, but also the photographer's responsibility to history.
The process of creating this photo book is an opportunity to return to our roots and values, emphasizing the important message of peaceful living, preserving love for our homeland, and believing in a bright future for the country. This book compiles many events about Vietnam on its journey into a new era.

On the occasion of the launch of his photo book "80 Years - A Confident Vietnam," photographer Nguyen A was honored to receive a Vietnamese record for "The person who has been dedicated to the art of photography for 30 years with 24 published works, winning many important awards domestically and internationally."
On this occasion, an exhibition of the same name will take place from December 13th to 15th at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural Center to serve the public.
