The Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Food and Tourism Festival 2025, themed "Hundreds of exquisite crafts, thousands of flavors spreading," is organized by the Hanoi Department of Tourism in coordination with the Tay Ho Ward People's Committee and will take place from December 11-14. According to reporters, from early morning on December 13th, food stalls and traditional craft exhibitions in Hanoi simultaneously opened, attracting locals and tourists to visit and shop. In the cool and humid weather of Hanoi in the last days of the year, the atmosphere in the pedestrian street area becomes lively with stalls selling handicrafts and the aroma of typical dishes such as pho, vermicelli, traditional cakes, and traditional sweet soups. Locals and tourists enjoy food at the food stalls in the Hanoi Traditional Craft Village Culinary and Tourism Space 2025. The space on Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street is arranged into clusters of traditional craft villages and streets, clearly recreating the cultural identity of each locality in Hanoi. Handicraft products such as ceramics, silk, rattan and bamboo weaving, lacquerware, etc., are arranged harmoniously, serving both as displays and providing visitors with opportunities to experience and purchase them. Young people enjoy sticky rice flakes and sticky rice cakes - a signature dish of Hanoi. The highlight of the morning of December 13th was the sight of artisans directly demonstrating and showcasing the crafting process at their booths. Their skillful, meticulous hands shaping the products attracted the attention of many visitors, especially young people and foreigners. Many stopped to take pictures and chat, seeking to learn more about the history and value of each traditional craft. Besides its culinary delights and traditional crafts, Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street has also become an attractive check-in spot with its decorative displays reflecting the essence of Hanoi. Experiential activities and cultural exchanges are organized throughout, contributing to a vibrant atmosphere while maintaining an elegant and welcoming feel. This year's festival takes place on an area of approximately 5,000m², with nearly 80 booths divided into 3 main spaces: "Traditional Craft Villages Telling Stories of the Past and Present"; "The Enduring Flavors of the Past"; and "Strolling Through Hanoi"... In addition, visitors can experience crafting with artisans, enjoy local cuisine, interact with chefs, and watch artistic performances. Ms. Thu Hoai (Cau Giay Ward, Hanoi), who visited the stalls early, shared: " Despite the drizzling and humid weather, I was determined to come to Trinh Cong Son pedestrian street early to visit and explore the handicrafts and food of Hanoi's traditional craft villages. I like the atmosphere here because it has almost everything a family needs." This area features stalls selling clay figurines, clay toys, and other traditional folk toys for children. Products made from rattan, bamboo, and other materials from traditional craft villages in Hanoi. Unique and eye-catching ceramic, porcelain, and lacquerware products will be on display at the Hanoi Traditional Craft Village and Street Food and Tourism Festival 2025.
