Images of the most modern cold storage facility in Southeast Asia, recently inaugurated in Tay Ninh.

On December 12th, New Era Cold Storage Joint Stock Company (NECS) held the inauguration ceremony for its New Era Cold Storage facility in Tay Ninh , celebrating its 5th anniversary.

This is one of the largest automated, smart cold storage facilities in Southeast Asia, with a capacity of 110,000 pallets and a floor area of 18,000 m2.

NECS operates automatically in a deep-freeze environment, with robotic systems and smart racking systems that operate based on data and optimization algorithms.

The entire process, from booking, receiving and shipping goods, inventory tracking, temperature management to tracing shipment history, is operated on a digital platform, integrating IoT and artificial intelligence (AI).

With a capacity of up to 110,000 pallets, NECS operates a multi-temperature system ranging from -22°C to +25°C, meeting the needs of most seafood, agricultural, processed food, and other product categories requiring strict temperature control.

In addition to warehousing, NECS provides a range of value-added services such as sorting and selection, packing and labeling, order counting, transshipment to seaports, and import/export documentation processing.

Everything is managed on a single platform, allowing customers to track shipments in real time and control the entire logistics journey, from cold storage, bonded warehouses, distribution centers to international seaports, contributing to elevating Vietnam's supply chain.

"What sets NECS apart from other warehouses in the market is its collaboration with banks to implement a financial support model for businesses (managing pledged goods), allowing businesses to use the goods in the warehouse as collateral. The digital management system ensures data transparency, direct connection with banks, and reduced risk, thereby accelerating disbursement and maintaining production," shared a representative from NECS.

According to NECS representatives, the cold storage facility meets international standards such as ISO, Edge, MSC/ASC, EU code, etc.

At the same time, this is also the first cold storage bonded warehouse approved by the Customs Department for implementation, helping to provide fast, convenient, and cost-effective bonded services right on-site.
