A consortium of six companies won a transportation contract worth over 595 billion VND.

According to information from the National Bidding Network, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction in Region II of Quang Ninh province has just announced the results of the contractor selection for Package No. 12. This package covers the construction of works under the Project for Upgrading and Renovating Provincial Road 330 (section from Ba Che town to Provincial Road 342).

The only consortium of six contractors participating and approved by the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction in Region II of Quang Ninh province as the winning bidder is the consortium comprising Huy Hoang International Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company - Construction and Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company - Quang Ninh Construction Company No. 1 Joint Stock Company - Anh Duong Limited Company - Thanh Duong Limited Company - and Power Construction and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company. The winning bid price is VND 595.968 billion (estimated price VND 597.183 billion), the implementation period is 540 days, and the contract is based on fixed unit prices.

Previously, on November 9, 2025, the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction in Region II of Quang Ninh province issued a notice inviting bids for a nationwide open tender for Package No. 12: Construction of works under the Project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 330, section from Ba Che town to Provincial Road 342.

The bidding package uses funding from the Quang Ninh provincial budget, the implementation period is 540 days, the contractor selection method is a one-stage, one-envelope process, the contract type is a fixed unit price contract, and the bidding location is in Ba Che commune, Quang Ninh province.

During the bidding process, only the aforementioned consortium of 6 contractors participated and was approved by the investor as the winning bidder. On December 5th, the investor and the contractors signed the contract and carried out the procedures to implement and construct the project.

It is known that the project to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 330 (section from Ba Chẽ commune to Provincial Road 342) will be implemented from August 2025. The project has a total length of nearly 20.97 km, shortening the route by approximately 2.5 km compared to the existing route. The starting point is at Km10+700 (in Ba Chẽ commune), and the end point is at Km34+200, connecting with Provincial Road 342 (in Kỳ Thượng commune). The total investment is 987 billion VND.
