The Quang Ninh Museum welcomed its one millionth visitor on December 12th. The lucky visitor, who completed a million-mile journey of discovery , was Lionel Klotz, a 67-year-old teacher from Toronto, Canada.

The leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum and Library personally presented meaningful gifts and special experiences to Mr. Lionel Klotz, expressing their gratitude for his trust and support.
Reaching the milestone of one million visitors is an honor and a source of pride, as well as the result of the tireless efforts of the entire museum team.
Mr. Do Quyet Tien, Director of the Quang Ninh Museum and Library, said: "This is a particularly important event, marking the continuous efforts of the Museum and demonstrating the deep trust and interest of visitors in the provincial museum."

In response to that interest and trust, in the coming time, the Museum will continue to innovate the content, methods and exhibition space, enhance the application of modern technology (such as 3D technology, virtual technology), and create the most convenient experience for visitors.
In particular, many new services will be introduced to provide more experiences, thereby encouraging tourists to stay longer, bringing more practical benefits, and contributing to the province's tourism development policy.
The support of the public and the collaboration of leaders at all levels are the solid foundation that helps Quang Ninh Museum affirm its role as a prestigious cultural and educational institution with a rich identity.
The trust of visitors is the driving force behind the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum and Library's continued strong growth in the future. The museum anticipates welcoming approximately 1,100,000 visitors in 2025 and continues to experience strong growth in 2026.
