Strengthening technological cooperation between Da Nang city and Daegu (Korea)

DNO - On October 24, in Korea, a working delegation from the Danang Center for Innovation and Startup Support (Department of Science and Technology) worked with the Department of International Cooperation and Trade, Daegu City.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed plans to promote the establishment of the Daegu City Technology Demonstration Space in Da Nang City. This is a breakthrough initiative to introduce advanced technology products from Daegu City, creating a foundation for extensive cooperation between businesses, organizations and research institutes of the two cities.

Representatives of the Danang Center for Supporting Innovative Startups introduced the city's policies and guidelines to support innovative startups. At the same time, invited representatives of Daegu City to participate in major events in Danang such as investment connection programs, startup seminars and innovation forums.

These activities not only create a bridge between technology businesses but also contribute to strengthening cultural and economic exchanges, creating a driving force for sustainable development between the two cities.

On this occasion, the delegation visited the office of Sphere AX Company (Korea) - a technology enterprise with a representative office in Da Nang Software Park No. 2. With practical support policies, the enterprise is taking advantage of opportunities to develop, contributing to affirming the favorable investment environment and increasingly complete innovation ecosystem in Da Nang city.

Sphere AX is a typical enterprise enjoying support policies under Resolution No. 58/2024/NQ-HDND of the City People's Council stipulating preferential policies, content and support levels for information infrastructure assets to develop the field of semiconductor chips and artificial intelligence; procedures for receiving, managing, exploiting and operating information infrastructure assets in Da Nang city.

The delegation visited the Daegu Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Daegu CCEI). The Center was established in 2014 and is one of the pioneering units in the network of "Creative Economy and Innovation Centers" initiated by the Korean Government .

Daegu CCEI plays an important role in promoting the startup ecosystem, supporting technology commercialization, and connecting startups with large corporations, research institutes, and universities.
