There is a warning of extremely heavy rainfall exceeding 150 mm in 3 hours, posing a risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas and urban centers.
Additionally, during today and tonight, the Central Highlands, Khanh Hoa , eastern Lam Dong, and Southern Vietnam will continue to experience showers, moderate rain, and thunderstorms, with rainfall generally ranging from 20 to 40 mm, and exceeding 100 mm in some areas.
At sea, the Ly Son station observed strong northerly winds of force 6, gusting to force 7. Forecasts indicate that during the day and night of October 26th, the northern part of the North East Sea will experience strong northeasterly winds of force 6-7, gusting to force 8-9; rough seas with waves 3-5 meters high. In the Gulf of Tonkin, northeasterly winds will gradually strengthen to force 6, gusting to force 7-8; waves 1.5-3 meters high. The sea area from southern Quang Tri to Da Nang will experience strong northeasterly winds of force 5-6, gusting to force 7-8; rough seas with waves 2-4 meters high.
Additionally, the sea areas from Quang Tri to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, and the East Sea region will continue to experience scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 6-7, and waves higher than 2 meters.
