Many meaningful activities, strengthening the great national unity bloc

The festival is held to promote the glorious tradition of the Vietnam National United Front, strengthen national solidarity, and create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the community.

This is also an opportunity to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing patriotic emulation movements and social security activities in the locality.

At the festival, delegates reviewed the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; listened to the results of the implementation of the task of building the great national unity bloc, the results of mobilizing people to implement the policy of the 2-level local government model, and the outstanding achievements in the economic, cultural and social development of the ward in recent times.

In recent times, the Front Work Committee of Ward 21 has mobilized people to unite, actively develop the economy, and help each other sustainably reduce poverty.

Up to now, the neighborhood has no more poor households, only 1 near-poor household.

During the year, the neighborhood mobilized people to contribute 120 gifts and 500kg of rice to support immigrant households and disadvantaged households; mobilized to take care of 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, 10 "Support to go to school" scholarships for students of the charity class at Phu Dinh communal house worth 30 million VND...

The movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products", "Good people, good deeds" continue to spread widely. Environmental protection activities, maintaining "15 minutes for a civilized and clean city" are actively responded to by the people. The neighborhood currently has 3 self-managed sanitation groups, 1 volunteer green team and 3 security camera points...

In the coming time, the neighborhood will continue to strengthen the great national unity bloc, striving to complete the 2026 targets.

In addition, the locality will continue to pay attention to social security work, especially taking care of people in boarding houses and mobilizing health insurance cards for students in charity classes at Phu Dinh communal house.

With the spirit of solidarity, innovation and humanity, Ward 21 strives to continue to be a bright spot in the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", contributing with Binh Phu ward to build a civilized, modern and humane residential area.

On this occasion, 10 typical individuals who performed good deeds were recognized and rewarded. The leaders of the city, ward and neighborhood 21 presented 40 gifts, 5 health insurance cards, 10 scholarships to encourage learning and talent, and donated funds to repair charity houses with a total cost of 150 million VND.

Also at the festival, there were many exciting activities such as: Chess competition, folk games, karaoke exchange, 3-region culinary booth, calligraphy booth, "Loving Ao Dai" booth, free haircuts, price stabilization sales program...

In particular, the "Zero-dong Supermarket" program gives away 150 gifts and takes care of policy households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged people, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love", contributing to spreading love in the community.

Hope people will contribute new models and solutions to contribute to the city's development.

On the same morning, the Front Working Committee of Ward 12 (Phu Dinh Ward, City) organized the National Great Unity Day 2025.

Speaking at the Festival, Mr. Duong Anh Duc emphasized that over the past 95 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has always been a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the people, promoting the tradition of solidarity, patriotism and humanity in every stage of the country's development.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the annual "National Great Unity Day" becomes an occasion for each residential area to look back on the results of building great unity, developing socio-economy, and carrying out patriotic emulation campaigns and movements.

Orientation for the coming time, the leader of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee called on the Front system and people to continue spreading patriotic emulation movements, especially models and initiatives originating from grassroots practices.

“Ho Chi Minh City hopes that people will contribute new models and solutions to strengthen national solidarity, build cultural life in residential areas, and join hands to develop a civilized, modern, and humane city.”

For Phu Dinh ward, he also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Dinh ward to continue to direct and guide the Front Working Committee of Ward 12 to widely deploy propaganda activities, mobilizing cadres and people to effectively implement the policies and orientations set forth by the locality and the city.

Mr. Duong Anh Duc expressed his belief that with the spirit of solidarity and consensus, Ward 12 will increasingly develop, people's lives will continuously improve, contributing to strengthening the Great National Unity bloc.

At the festival, many meaningful activities such as the democratic flower picking contest, the "Sharing love" zero-dong booth, the great solidarity meal and the groundbreaking ceremony for house repairs for households in difficult circumstances were carried out.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also commended and recognized outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in community building.
