The festival was organized to promote the glorious traditions of the Vietnam National United Front, strengthen national unity, and create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere in the community.
This is also an opportunity to honor and commend outstanding collectives and individuals in implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and social welfare activities in the locality.
At the event, delegates reviewed the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; heard about the results of implementing the task of building national unity, the results of mobilizing the people to implement the policy of a two-tiered local government model, and the outstanding achievements in economic, cultural, and social development of the ward in the past period.
Over the past period, the Front Committee of Ward 21 has mobilized the people to unite, actively develop the economy, and help each other achieve sustainable poverty reduction.
To date, the neighborhood no longer has any poor households, only one near-poor household.
During the year, the neighborhood mobilized residents to contribute 120 gift packages and 500kg of rice to support immigrant households and disadvantaged families; they also organized the provision of 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and 10 "Supporting Students to School" scholarships for students in the charity class at Phu Dinh communal house, worth 30 million VND…
The movements "All people unite to build a cultured way of life," "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods," and "Good people, good deeds" continue to spread widely. Environmental protection activities and the "15 minutes for a civilized and clean city" initiative are actively supported by the people. The neighborhood currently has 3 self-governing sanitation teams, 1 volunteer green team, and 3 security camera stations…
In the coming period, the neighborhood will continue to strengthen national unity and strive to achieve the targets for 2026.
In addition, the local authorities will continue to focus on social welfare, especially caring for people in rented housing areas, and mobilizing efforts to provide health insurance cards for students in the charity class at Phu Dinh communal house.
With a spirit of unity, innovation, and compassion, neighborhood 21 strives to continue being a shining example in the "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" movement, contributing together with Binh Phu ward to building a civilized, modern, and compassionate residential area.

On this occasion, 10 exemplary individuals recognized for their good deeds were commended and rewarded. City, ward, and neighborhood leaders presented 40 gifts, 5 health insurance cards, 10 scholarships for academic achievement and talent development, and donated funds for the repair of charity houses, totaling 150 million VND.
The festival also featured many exciting activities such as: a chess competition, folk games, karaoke sessions, food stalls from all three regions of Vietnam, calligraphy stalls, a "Loving Ao Dai" (traditional Vietnamese dress) stall, free haircuts, and a price stabilization program…
In particular, the "Zero-Cost Supermarket" program donated 150 gift packages and provided care for policy beneficiary households, near-poor households, and vulnerable people, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," contributing to spreading love in the community.
We hope the people will contribute ideas and new models to help develop the city.
On the morning of the same day, the Front Committee of Ward 12 (Phu Dinh Ward, City) organized the National Unity Day 2025.
Mr. Duong Anh Duc, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Duong Anh Duc emphasized that, over the past 95 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has always been a solid bridge between the Party, the State, and the people, promoting the tradition of solidarity, patriotism, and compassion in all stages of the country's development.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the annual "National Unity Day" has become an occasion for each residential area to reflect on the results of building national unity, developing socio-economic aspects, and implementing patriotic campaigns and emulation movements.
Looking ahead, the leaders of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee called on the Fatherland Front system and the people to continue spreading patriotic emulation movements, especially models and initiatives originating from grassroots realities.
"Ho Chi Minh City hopes that its citizens will contribute ideas for new models and solutions to strengthen national unity, build cultural life in residential areas, and work together to develop a civilized, modern, and compassionate city."
Regarding Phu Dinh ward, he also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Dinh ward to continue directing and guiding the Front Committee of residential area 12 to extensively implement propaganda and mobilization activities to effectively carry out the policies and directions set forth by the locality and the city.
Mr. Duong Anh Duc expressed his belief that with a spirit of unity and consensus, Ward 12 will continue to develop, the lives of its residents will constantly improve, and it will contribute to strengthening the great national unity.
At the festival, many meaningful activities were held, such as a democratic flower-picking contest, a "Sharing Love" zero-cost booth, a solidarity meal, and the commencement of house repairs for disadvantaged families.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also commended and praised outstanding collectives and individuals who have achieved excellent results in building the local community.
