Vietnamese Children's Day

(HNMO) - On May 7th, in anticipation of the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Organization (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2023), in Thanh Hoa province - the hometown of the young hero and martyr Nguyen Ba Ngoc, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers Organization, in coordination with International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (IDP) - Kun brand, organized the "Vietnamese Children - Study Well, Train Diligently" festival with the theme "Doing Good Deeds Every Day with Kun".

Attending the event were the Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and President of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, along with 1,500 children and 200 teachers in charge of the Young Pioneers' Organization…

1,500 children participated in the "Vietnamese Children - Study Well, Train Diligently" festival.

The "Vietnamese Children - Study Well, Train Diligently" program is an educational and experiential activity for young Pioneers, teenagers, and children in primary schools nationwide during the 2022-2023 school year, with six training content groups: competing to study well, exercising healthily, protecting the environment, reading books every day, sharing love, and developing skills.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council Le Anh Quan said: In 2023, one of the key goals of the program is to integrate the implementation of the youth member training program on the "Doing Good Deeds" application to facilitate children to have fun, train, and experience practical skills with the motto "Learning through play, playing through learning," in response to the theme "Year of Digital Transformation of Youth Union Activities" launched by the Central Youth Union.

To date, the "Doing Good Deeds" application has recorded the participation of 13,734 primary school students in Thanh Hoa province, with 103,050 good deeds recorded and accumulated on the application. The program provides children with a beneficial playground; opportunities to experience and develop their abilities; and creates an environment for them to compete in learning, doing many good and useful deeds anytime, anywhere, forming a continuous daily habit...

Scholarships and gifts were awarded to underprivileged children who excelled in their studies.

At the event, the Central Youth Union Council presented two children's playgrounds in Thieu Hoa district and Thanh Hoa city, with a total value of 100 million VND. The funding for these projects was provided by the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center and the International Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (IDP) through a solidarity walk organized by children in Thanh Hoa province.

On this occasion, the organizing committee also awarded 30 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, along with gifts, to underprivileged children who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies.
