(NLĐO) - The Southern Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station forecasts that Ho Chi Minh City will experience mostly no rain today, with sunny days and temperatures and ultraviolet radiation remaining high.
Today, March 10th, the weather in Southern Vietnam will be mostly cloudy with sunny periods during the day, and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening; northeasterly to easterly winds will be at level 2 to 3. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Overall temperatures remain high, with minimum temperatures ranging from 23-26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures between 31-35 degrees Celsius.
Today, Ho Chi Minh City is experiencing hot and sunny weather, with high temperatures and high levels of ultraviolet radiation.
In Ho Chi Minh City specifically, the weather throughout the day was mostly rainless, with sunny periods and occasional heat; the air humidity in the area was also quite humid from midday to afternoon, and the UV index in the districts and communes remained high at level 8, potentially harmful to the skin.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the concentration of fine dust in Ho Chi Minh City over the past few months has consistently been warned by the AirVisual app as being at high levels, exceeding the permissible levels set by the World Health Organization (WHO) many times over, posing a health risk.
Therefore, people should limit going out during peak hours when the UV index is high; when going out, they should use health protection measures such as using sunscreen, wearing a wide-brimmed hat, a face mask, and sunglasses.
