* On February 1st, a delegation from the Provincial People's Committee, led by Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the supply of goods and market prices during the 2024 Lunar New Year at supermarkets and markets in Vinh City.

*On the morning of February 1st, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Dragon), Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of leaders from departments and agencies, visited and extended New Year greetings to a number of businesses and investors/investors in Nghe An province.

* Also on February 1st, the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province visited Nghia Dan and Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town to present Tet gifts and provide housing assistance to the poor and households with particularly difficult circumstances. The delegation also presented gifts to poor patients receiving treatment at several hospitals.

* On February 1st, in Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune (Que Phong district), the Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with the Provincial and Que Phong District Fatherland Front Committees, organized the "Warm Border Guard Spring, Heartfelt for the Villagers" program in 2024. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Dragon), units of the Nghe An Border Guard Command, in coordination with local authorities, organized meaningful activities for ethnic minority communities in the areas where the units are stationed.

The Director of Vinh City Green Park Joint Stock Company stated that, on the upcoming 27th day of the 12th lunar month, the dragon mascot symbolizing the Year of the Dragon 2024 will be erected and decorated at the art flower garden on Ho Tung Mau Street, Vinh City. This project has been planned in advance and will be implemented on schedule.
