* On the morning of July 1st, the Ministry of Education and Training officially announced the results of the 2026 High School Graduation Examination. Nghe An province had 604 perfect scores (10 points), including 350 students achieving a perfect score in Mathematics, 8 in Physics, 29 in Chemistry, 11 in Biology, 188 in History, 3 in Geography, 1 in Informatics, 5 in Industrial Engineering, and 9 in Foreign Languages.

* On the morning of July 1st, at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Do Luong commune, working groups from the Nghe An Provincial Military Command began collecting biological samples from 1,308 graves of unidentified martyrs. This cemetery has the largest number of unidentified graves in the entire province.
