* On the morning of March 18th, at the National Assembly building, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly held a question-and-answer session. Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue - Member of the Political Bureau, Chairman of the National Assembly - presided over the session.
The conference was held online, connecting to 62 locations in provinces and centrally-governed cities. At the Nghe An provincial location, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, presided over the meeting. Attending the question-and-answer session were Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee; National Assembly deputies working in the province; and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.
* On the morning of March 18th, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province - presided over the regular citizen reception session for March 2024.

* The People's Council of Quy Chau district held a by-election for the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee. The result was that 100% of the district People's Council delegates elected Mr. Bui Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Quy Chau District Party Committee - to the position of Chairman of the Quy Chau District People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026.

* Over 1,000 children from Nghe An participated in an exciting mass performance and a series of meaningful activities at the "Children's Fun and Healthy Day" festival in 2024, held in Anh Son district on March 18th.

* Starting with one household experimenting with growing 7-leaf 1-flower ginseng, and with government support, farmers in Tam Hop commune (Tuong Duong district) are now expanding the cultivation area to the gardens of four other households. After five years of implementation, people in the border region of Tam Hop have begun to earn income from this valuable medicinal herb.

* Since mid-February, egg prices have been continuously falling. In particular, at the beginning of March, egg prices dropped sharply, causing losses for egg farmers.

* Following reports by Nghe An Newspaper about the indiscriminate dumping of waste into streams and ravines in Dong Tam village, the People's Committee of Thach Ngan commune has directed relevant organizations to intensify cleanup efforts and raise awareness about environmental hygiene; simultaneously, they have installed surveillance cameras to prevent the indiscriminate dumping of waste into streams and ravines.
