* The 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association , for the term 2026-2031, will take place from June 7-8, 2026 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi). Nearly 600 official delegates representing over 10 million members and farmers nationwide will attend the Congress. The Nghe An provincial delegation consists of 19 delegates.

* After years of focusing on measuring governance quality and the business environment through the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) recently introduced the Business Performance Index (BPI) for the first time. In the first-ever ranking, Nghe An achieved 4.75 points, ranking 7th out of 34 provinces and cities.
