Actress Ngoc Anh marks her return after nearly 3 years of absence with the film project "The Green Plateau Sky". During that time, the actress got married, had a child, and focused on taking care of her family.
Returning after a three-year hiatus, Ngoc Anh admitted she felt nervous. At the press conference introducing the film "Green Plateau Sky" on the afternoon of July 1st, the actress confided: “I’ve been away for almost three years. Five years ago, director Nguyen Mai Hien entrusted me with the role of Ngoc in 'Street in the Village,' and five years later he gave me the role of Van. Before joining the film crew, I was very worried and felt pressured.”
I wondered if anything had changed in the filmmaking process after my three-year absence, and if my skills had deteriorated. Fortunately, Mr. Hien was very perceptive and understanding. He always helped us analyze the characters' psychology down to the smallest detail.”

When asked about her time filming away from home, Ngoc Anh shared that she was fortunate to have a husband who always took care of the family. In addition, the actress's family has a housekeeper to help, and Ngoc Anh has long instilled independence in her children. Thanks to this, she can freely pursue her career.
"I've long been training my child to sleep independently. This requires a cool head. Usually, mothers only give up after 3 or 4 months of trying. But I'm luckier because I was able to train my baby to be independent from an early age, and thanks to that, I can continue pursuing my long-term acting career," she shared.
In the film "Green Plateau Sky, " Ngoc Anh plays Van, who is preparing to marry Captain Quang Tuan (Xuan Phuc). Their love faces a challenging period when Quang Tuan is assigned to a mission at To Roi.
Set against the backdrop of the Central Highlands, a region with majestic nature but also harboring numerous issues related to ethnicity, religion, and security, "The Green Highland Sky" explores the story of the journey to preserve peace in villages against schemes that exploit conflicts to incite division and undermine national unity.
The film opens with a retired police general returning to the land he was deeply connected to for many years. His return confronts him with unforgotten memories, while also revealing a period of instability in the Tơ Rơi village caused by forces exploiting the gullibility, trust, and underlying rifts within the community for their own purposes.
At the heart of the story are two police officers from two different generations with differing viewpoints and working styles. Pham Minh (Ha Viet Dung) - Deputy Head of the Internal Security Department of the Provincial Police - is a seasoned veteran who has overcome many challenges in his work. For him, the key to success lies not only in professional skills but also in the ability to build trust and strengthen the bond between law enforcement and local people.
In contrast to the composure of his seniors, Captain Quang Tuan possessed the enthusiasm of youth and the sharpness of a scout. When deployed to To Roi, he gradually realized that protecting peace in the highlands could not rely solely on courage or professional skills, but also required perseverance, empathy, and the ability to connect with the hearts of the people.
Directed by Meritorious Artist Nguyen Mai Hien, the film brings together many familiar faces such as Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai, Ha Viet Dung, Xuan Phuc, and also features young actors including Luan Nguyen, Thuy Nga , Hoang Ngan, The Manh, and Ngoc Anh.
