"Giai Nhan 2" is the next chapter in the series of solo live shows that Ngoc Cham has previously performed. In 2019, in addition to releasing the album "Giai Nhan" featuring 8 songs by composer Vu Thanh An, Ngoc Cham held the "Giai Nhan 1" live show, which left a lasting impression on the audience with its refined and romantic musical evening, bringing Ngoc Cham closer to the audience as a singer.

In "Giai Nhan 1," Ngoc Cham emphasized the role of Vu Thanh An's music and her fortunate connection with the composer in her musical career, while in "Giai Nhan 2," Ngoc Cham... focuses not only on Vu Thanh An's music.

"Giai Nhan 2" will be a live show recounting Ngoc Cham's 25-year journey in music, including 10 years as a producer, producing the "Vang Son Mot Thua" series of classic songs. It will also be a rare occasion for Ngoc Cham to immerse herself in music on her birthday.

Throughout her rich artistic career, Ngoc Cham has taken on many roles, but in "Giai Nhan 2" (Beautiful Woman 2), she will be solely a singer, fully embracing her love of music, fulfilling her long-held desire to sing, and performing what she likes, loves, and is passionate about.

The musical pieces performed in the "Giai Nhan 2" live show with Ngoc Cham depict her musical journey and life story. These are some of the most famous love songs, perfectly suited to Ngoc Cham's voice, from six renowned composers of Vietnamese music: Nguyen Anh 9, Ngo Thuy Mien, Pham Duy, Thanh Tung, Tran Tien, and Vu Thanh An…

The program's director, musician Nguyen Quang, revealed that he has selected beautiful songs that suit the female singer's voice. There will be about 20 songs, divided into 3 chapters, corresponding to Ngoc Cham's career path. The journey of a female singer who initially pursued pop music, gaining fame in Hanoi's tea rooms for a time, then, thanks to a chance encounter with musician Nguyen Quang, who discovered her talent for singing love songs, and from there, diligently built the "Golden Era" series of programs honoring authors and their works, meeting musician Vu Thanh An, and dedicating herself wholeheartedly to music regardless of her role.

Ngoc Cham also said that the "Giai Nhan 2" live show recreates the musical journey of "Giai Nhan" (a beauty) who sings love songs - Ngoc Cham, so she specifically invited musician Nguyen Quang to be the General Director and also the Music Director. Nguyen Quang is not only a talented musician, but he is also a mentor and guide for Ngoc Cham in singing love songs, helping her discover the most outstanding abilities in her as an artist that she had never dared to try before.

Choosing songs by famous composers, previously performed by veteran singers, Ngoc Cham said she was "not afraid." "I understand that old music is very simple; it doesn't need technique or flashiness. The most important thing is emotion and feeling. Singing from the heart, with my own feelings. I believe that if I just stay calm, maintain a stable mindset, and don't have to do too much like organizing production or selling tickets, I will do my best on stage," Ngoc Cham affirmed.

The guest performers in the live show were also carefully selected by Ngoc Cham with the intention of helping her to further highlight and emphasize her artistic journey. Renowned singer Y Lan proactively wanted to participate as a guest performer because of her affection for Ngoc Cham after observing her dedication to art. Singer Le Anh Dung is a long-time friend and also a "destiny" that has connected Ngoc Cham on her artistic path. Thai Thuy Linh and Nguyen Tuan Anh are friends who have accompanied Ngoc Cham in many artistic programs and in life, understanding and respecting each other. Duc Tung, NC Hoang Luong, Lai Xuan Thanh… are students whom Ngoc Cham is currently teaching as vocal instructors. All of them will help the audience understand more about the artist Ngoc Cham.

Ngoc Cham graduated from Hanoi College of Arts in 2009. She won second prize in the Hanoi City Student Singing Contest in 1998 and fourth prize in the Hanoi Good Voice Contest in 2002. She is the director of the "Golden Era" series of programs honoring authors and their works, and has organized many tribute concerts for artists such as Nguyen Anh 9, Vinh Su, Vu Thanh An, and Ngo Thuy Mien.
