Born in 1964, after completing his military service, Mr. Sau returned to his hometown, started a family, and began working in production. Although life was still difficult, with the diligence and hard work of a soldier and a spirit of not being afraid of challenges, he always sought out and learned to find ways to develop the economy suitable to local conditions.

Mr. Sau's journey into beekeeping for honey production began more than 20 years ago. Initially, he only tried raising a few beehives, about 5 to 7 colonies, to take advantage of the natural flower resources in the area. Through the process of caring for the bees, accumulating experience, and self-replicating the colonies, the scale of his family's bee colonies has grown steadily. For the past 5 years, his family has consistently maintained nearly 100 bee colonies. Income from selling honey and bee colonies in recent years has reached 150 to 200 million VND per year.

What is admirable about this veteran is not only his keen business sense, but also his spirit of sharing with the community. As the head of the Veterans' Association in Bia hamlet, Mr. Sau actively encourages members and residents to develop the economy together. Many families who want to raise bees but lack experience receive his dedicated guidance on techniques, from selecting bee breeds and caring for the bees to preventing diseases.

In particular, to encourage people to invest boldly, Mr. Sau is willing to sell bee colonies on a deferred payment basis. People receive the bees to raise, and only repay the cost of the colonies when they have an income. Thanks to this method, many households in the hamlet have gained additional livelihoods and improved their income.

Not only is he a successful businessman, but veteran Truong Van Sau is also a role model in adhering to the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. He actively participates in local movements such as building new rural areas, developing cultural life in residential areas, and encouraging people to maintain unity and help each other in life.

Commenting on Mr. Sau, Mr. Tran Van Van, Secretary of the Party Branch of Bia Hamlet, said: "Mr. Sau is a very exemplary citizen, always at the forefront of local movements. He is always willing to help others when they need it. As the head of the Veterans Association of Bia Hamlet, he always encourages members and the people to comply well with the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State. He plays an important role in building a more prosperous and beautiful village."

In the midst of a rural area still facing many difficulties, the image of a San Diu ethnic veteran diligently tending to his beehives and devoted to his village's work has become a beautiful example of willpower and a sense of responsibility to the community. The story of veteran Truong Van Sau is not only a testament to his perseverance and creativity in labor, but also spreads the positive values of the "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" spirit in today's life - living with compassion, setting a good example, and always willing to help others rise up.
